I keep a rankings page of everything I've read so far at my blog, so I guess the top fifty are my top fifty. But I haven't read enough for it to be a really definitive list. I think #50 is a book about literary theory -- hardly something that will remain in my top fifty once I have read more! :)*ೃ༄ Jillianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14139487177036647728noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3298495631546915310.post-5431919764900985822011-11-25T19:58:35.492-05:002011-11-25T19:58:35.492-05:00I knew your list would kick ass and it DID! But I love lists and you have mentioned many of my favorites (anything by Sarah Waters, Drood, We Have Always Lived in the Castle), I would choose Martin Chuzzelwit over Bleak House or Little Dorrit. I think that Bleak House is a better book, but I have a soft spot in my heart for Martin Chuzzelwit, since it is the first Dickens I read. I would also pick The Woman in White over the Moonstone and P&P or Emma over Persuasion.Ruthiellahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03871834571645928819noreply@blogger.com
