Pumpkin Brownies with Pecans, from the Baking Bites blog, won my Autumnal Baking survey and garnered over half of the votes.
They were heavenly: moist, dense, and reminiscent of pumpkin pie. They are all gone; I shared with friends, family, and coworkers and now there is one lone brownie left in the kitchen. Hope has called dibs on that one!
And yes, they are brownies with no chocolate. The texture is very fudge like and it is rich like a brownie. Perhaps they should be renamed Pumpkinies.

These did look really remarkable. I'm going to have to bring some vegan baked goods to the office, as I think some of our co-workers are confused as to what the poor vegans bake.
If I made these in my house and tried to give away even a single one, Chuck would have my head. He is the KING of pumpkin!
