I've been lamenting my lack of sleep on this blog all summer along. Between the excitement of a new relationship, social events with friends, an ever-changing work schedule, and a hyper eight-year-old to contend with I've found myself getting no more than 3 to 5 hours of sleep per night (sometimes less).
Then school started back and I became even more weary; the shopping and business and adjusting schedules had me tuckered out, but unable to sleep. When I did sleep it was fitful. My nightmares were worse and I tossed and turned nearly every night.
This past week it has all caught up with me. I don't know if it is that I'm finally in a groove or that I'm so content with Inky Darcy and Hope that I feel calm enough to sleep. All I want is sleep. I've been going to bed well before 10 p.m. every night (very unusual for me) and tonight it is barely past ten p.m. and I'm ready for sleep.
So in lieu of an interesting post you will have to make do with my goodnights; I'm going to bed!

I'm fairly certain the sleeplessness has been passed on to me. But I'm glad you're getting some well deserved sleep again!
