Photo Friday: Butterbean, 11 Weeks

The Butterbean is growing with great rapidity.  I've still got a few pregnancy hiccups, right now the doctors are keeping an eye on the placenta.  The placenta is low-lying, which means I'm at a higher risk for bleeding.  Things should be okay, but I'll have some extra ultrasounds in the next few weeks to check on things.  I wasn't concerned until I came home and looked up low-lying placentas.  Now I'm freaked out; I really need to quit looking things up and embrace blissful ignorance.

The only other thing is that I've been getting a bit dizzy.  My blood sugar has been low and apparently Butterbean is sucking up everything I eat.  I'm adding in a small mid-morning meal and a small mid-afternoon meal and then decreasing the amount I eat at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Hopefully this will keep me from feeling dizzy.  Besides the dizziness I feel great.  In fact, I feel totally normal 98% of the time.  I don't feel pregnant like I did with Hope as I'm not puking every waking minute.

The only other pregnancy thing to report is that I want to eat nothing but Mexican food.  I have been making nachos at home (healthy ones with black beans, veggies, and real cheese).  I have to quite typing about it or I'll end up making more right this very second.

In non-pregnancy news, I've been in a blogging funk.  I think I'm coming out of it, though, and I should be posting more in the upcoming week.  Work has been stressful and the last thing I want to do when I get home is to look at the computer screen!

Okay folks, that's it for now.  I'm off to brainstorm some blogging ideas to jumpstart my blogging mojo!

I don't think you're alone in your blogging funk - it seems to be widely mutual. I've read numerous posts lately about just that - myself included. I blame it on spring.

Congrats on the Butterbean!
