Threaded Thursday: Wedding edition

Last Thursday I thought I'd be posting updates throughout the day on my stitching.  Except for getting a haircut and doing some packing I spent the entire day stitching felt flowers.  I used no patterns except for a circle cookie cutter to cut out the felt.  I stitched each flower differently, sewed floral wire behind the buttons, wrapped it in turquoise ribbon, sewed the ribbon closed and added a red button.  Viola!  A sweet bouquet.

Here is a  picture my friend Catherine took of the bouquet:

And here I am holding the bouquet.  This is right after Sam said "I do", hence the ridiculous smile on my face:

I could go pull the bouquet out and take more pictures, but I really just want to crawl in bed with a book.  If everything goes as planned tomorrow (or maybe friday) there will be a bridal tips post, cupcake recipes, and honeymoon review (as in a review of restuarants, coffeeshops, and the hotel... not an - ahem - "honeymoon review").

Your bouquet is wonderful, but the happiness radiating from your picture outshines it. May you hold on to that happiness always.

That picture of you, smiling like that, is the most adorable thing EVER. Except for maybe your bouquet. That freakin' rocks Mrs. Roper! :)
