Okay. New goal time. I'd like to read at least 12 more books. Ambitious if you look at my monthly reading rate, but not so ambitious when you consider that I have 1) a week of vacation next week and 2) two weeks off in December. Also, Atticus is finally sleeping through the night (shhhhhh.... I don't want to jinx it) and he is at the age where he will play on the floor and let me read for a least a little bit.
Luckily, Jenn over at Jenn's Bookshelves is hosting a Thankfully Reading Weekend. Next weekend, Fri 11/25 to Sun 11/27 I'll be trying my best to read the weekend away. My other goal is to only read from my pile of books in the bedroom. We'll call it TBR pile (lots of library books and few things in progress). I'll be choosing my reads from this stack:
- Wolf Hall by Hilary Mantel (I'm about half-way through this one)
- The Distant Hours by Kate Morton (library book)
- Locke and Key volumes 2 and 3 by Joe Hill (library books)

You're a little ahead of me for the year, but I think we're pretty representative of moms with kids in Atticus's and Greyson's age group! lol
Greyson usually wants me involved in whatever he's doing, but I do like taking advantage of some of those playtime moments.
Atticus will be uber clingy one day and want nothing to do with me the next. Temperamental little booger!
