.... and then Amanda fell off the wagon....

There for awhile I was in the throes of productivity:  waking at 4 a.m. and baking, working, the house was clean, books were being read with rapidity.... Hell, I even blogged regularly.  Of course, I've been trying to take it easy for the Butterbean's sake, but I've slid the other direction.  Normally, I'm one of those "I can sleep when I'm dead types."  I don't nap unless I'm sick and usually I'm alert and highly functioning on 5 to 6 hours of sleep at night.

But now -- I CANNOT QUIT SLEEPING.  In addition to sleeping a full 8 hours at night.  I am falling asleep ALL THE TIME.  At the coffeeshop, on the couch, even while reading.  Luckily, I still manage to stay awake while driving and bathing and working -- but geezlouise I'm tired.

Okay.... all this to say that I'm finding it difficult to blog.  I can't blog about work (if you can't say anything nice don't say anything at all) and I haven't been doing anything interesting enough to blog about.  Unless you all think I should just blog about sleep positions, or pillow drool patterns, or prime napping tips.

However I have had some crazy dreams.  The other night I dreamt that I was thrifting at a huge thrift mall.  I bought a turquoise trenchcoat, a brown sweater, a vintage denim jacket, some Isadora Duncan scarves, and a pair of black heels.  I was sooooo excited.  Then I woke up and was super bummed I didn't have at the very least the awesome coat.

Tomorrow I'm going to try very very hard to do something interesting.  Maybe Monday will have some sort of good adventure in store and if not, expect me to detail some more naptime dreams.

I slept the entire 1st trimester of my second pregnancy. :)Then, I didn't get any sleep for the next 2 years after Max was born...I'm glad I slept when I could.

I love those crazy pregnancy dreams!
