July's Reading Pile

I've poured over lists and piles and have now chosen which books will comprise Mt. To-Be-Read for July.  While I'd like to think that I'll read a dozen books in July, I know that, in reality, I will most likely read 5 to 7.

From my Stacks:
To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee
Wolf Hall by Hilary Mantel
Time Among the Dead by Thomas Rayfiel
Manservant and Maidservant by Ivy Compton-Burnett

From the Library:
A Flaw in the Blood by Stephanie Barron
The Professor by Charlotte Bronte
Sarum by Edward Rutherford
The Alienist by Caleb Carr
The Year of the Flood by Margaret Atwood
something Sherlock Holmes

Already in Progress:
Crime and Punishment by Fyodor Dostoevsky
The Death of the Moth by Virginia Woolf
The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas

Amanda do you ever make a list like this and then end up not wanting to read any of them? I refrain from mapping out what I am going to read because invariably I end up rebelling against my own choices. Even my control issues have control issues.
