Head Bloggin' Not So Productive

Once again I've been posting blog entries in my head. By the time I actually sit down at a computer with some free time I lose the thread of whatever it is I was going to say.

I've had so much going on lately. Being engaged threw me for a loop. I must confess that I had a temporary lapse into girliness, well, at least girly for me. As in I was all glowy (still am) and thinking about wedding plans and staring at the beau-ti-ful vintage ring on my left hand. Then I had a bit of an anxiety attack from all the questions about wedding plans. More about that another day.

Last week I spent catching up on sleep and reading Harry Potter; I'm nearly done with book 7. Then I can focus on finishing the Twilight series, knocking out some graphic novels, and starting some Gothic reads and classic books. Fall is the perfect time for Gothic literature and thick classic books. Now if the weather could keep cool and rainy I'd be rocking the nerdy book-lovin before actual Autumn hits.

This weekend I have exciting plans; Friday night Inky Darcy, his friend, Best Friend, and I are going to Dragon*Con! I've never been and I am really looking forward to it. Saturday afternoon Inky Darcy and I are going to my parent's house to celebrate my Grandparent's 50th wedding anniversary. In addition to experiencing my mother's delicious cooking for the first time, Inky Darcy will be meeting the rest of my family, including my Uncle Chris who is a preacher and will one day marry us.

Saturday night I'm supposed to go to a friend's birthday party in Atlanta. I just really want a quiet night. I will be out late on Friday and have family obligations on Saturday and I want a night of quiet, coffee, and reading. Saturday I will most likely be at a coffeehouse reading or at the tattoo shop with Inky Darcy reading while he tattoos.

Sunday I pick-up Hope from my parent's house and will spend the rest of the holiday weekend watching old school Transformers with Hope and cleaning the house.

Enough blabblity blab for now. Unfortunately, you will all have to suffer through a wedding planning post soon. I'm apologizing ahead of time!

I know the feeling of having great ideas for posts and then forgetting them. They invariably come back just after you've turned the computer off, don't they?
