I thought I'd share a few pictures from the library Charles Dickens display I did. With the help of a few stellar work-study students we created a display about Dickens and I even shared my Charles Dickens action figure.
Alright. Now time for the giveaway details! Leave a comment by 11:59pm tonight (02/07) and tomorrow I will draw the winners. That's right. I said winners. Four of you will win a Charles Dickens bookmark. My local library had these bookmarks for sale and I snatched them up. The grand-prize winner will win this:
Isn't it pretty?! I totally want one for myself. I will send it to you directly from Amazon.com so I don't end up keeping it for myself.
The particulars:
- Each comment you've made throughout the month will get you entered to win
- However, you can only win once. (you just have a higher chance of winning and I want to share the love.
- I am going to use the Fig and Thistle Random Number Generator (i.e. Hope will draw numbers out of a bag)
- The winners will be announced on Friday, 02/10.
- You will have one week to contact me with your mailing information.

I'm not in on the contest since I didn't squeeze in any Dickens this month, but I LOOOOVE your display. Your action figure is a thing of beauty and something I sorely envy. Good work!
Thanks for hosting the Charles Dickens Month, Amanda! I have enjoyed talking about Dickens more than anything else.
Here's my wrap-up post,

Your display looks great! The Dickens' action figure is totally funny. A perfect toy for a Nerdy Book Girl.
Thanks for hosting this event and the encouragement to read for it. I managed to read the Tomalin Bio and OMF as a result!
Dear Amanda, thank you very much for hosting this wonderful event! Although I have only read A Tale of Two cities (very busy month...) I enjoyed it very much! A Tale of Two Cities has finally convinced me of Dickens's unsurpassed genius.
Here is my last post, basically an ode to my new love, Sydney Carton:

What fun! I can't believe you get to do that and get paid for it! :) And what fun prizes too! I definitely want to get a copy of the book soon - I've been drooling over it since I saw Allie post about it. Thanks for hosting this! Here's my final post: http://apaperbacklife.wordpress.com/2012/02/07/happy-birthday-charles-dickens/
Thanks so much for hosting the Charles Dickens Month! I learned so much and had a blast!
Here's a little meme I did discussing my experience with Dickens:
